Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This privacy policy is issued by EDUSHARK TRAINING LLP (“EDUSHARK”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India. We operate the website at edusharktraining.com and publish the Praxia mobile application on the Google Play Store.

2. Scope

This policy covers:

• your use of the website at edusharktraining.com and all subdomains;
• your use of the Praxia Android application (package id com.edushark.praxia);
• any inquiries you send us by email, phone, the contact form, or in person.

It does not cover third-party websites or applications you reach through links we publish.

3. Information we collect on the website

We try to collect the absolute minimum needed to run the site and respond to you.

3.1 Information you give us

• Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject you selected and the message you wrote.
• Course enquiries and enrolments. Anything you provide when signing up for one of our training programmes.

3.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs. When you visit the website, the hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp). These are used for security and abuse prevention only.
• No analytics, no ad-tracking. As of the effective date, we do not embed Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or any other third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
• No tracking cookies. The website does not set tracking cookies. Functional cookies may be set if a future feature requires them; this page will be updated before that happens.

4. Information collected by the Praxia mobile app

Praxia is designed to keep your learning data local on your device. The following is stored in the app’s private storage area (not accessible to other apps) in a single JSON file:

• The display name you choose during onboarding.
• Your XP, level, current streak, last practice date, and remaining hearts.
• Which lessons and units you have completed, and the score on each.
• Which achievements you have unlocked.
• Your daily lesson count and the date, used to show today's goal.

The full record above (including your display name) stays on your device and is not transmitted to EDUSHARK unless you choose to create an optional account to back up and sync it, described in section 4.2. Separately, the app sends anonymous usage analytics so we can improve Praxia and personalise study recommendations, described in section 4.3; this is on by default and you can turn it off in the app.

4.1 Permissions Praxia requests

• INTERNET, used to send anonymous crash diagnostics and anonymous usage analytics (sections 4.3 and 7), and, if you choose, to sign in and sync your progress.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS, used only to show local daily reminders that help you keep your learning streak. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

Praxia does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, calendar or SMS, and does not read hardware or advertising identifiers such as the Android ID or Advertising ID. The usage analytics in section 4.3 use a random identifier the app generates for itself, which is reset if you clear the app’s data.

4.2 Optional account and cloud backup (Backup and Sync)

Praxia offers an optional account so you can back up your progress and restore it on another device. An account is not required to use the app, and every feature works without one.

If you choose to sign in (from the first-launch screen or from Profile, Backup and Sync), we collect and store on our servers:

• Your email address, used to sign you in and identify your account.
• Your phone number, only if you choose to add it. It is optional and is reserved for future account recovery and sign-in options.
• Your display name.
• Your learning progress: XP, level, streak, completed lessons and units, achievements, and daily goal.

Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time six-digit code. We do not set or store a password. This account data is stored on Cloudflare (Workers and the D1 database) in the Asia-Pacific region; see section 7. You can delete your account and all synced data at any time from the app (Profile, then Delete my data, which also removes the copy on our servers), or by writing to privacy@edusharktraining.com.

4.3 Usage analytics

To understand how people learn with Praxia and to keep improving it, the app sends anonymous usage events to our servers: which lessons and questions you attempt, whether each answer was correct, your lesson scores, and the app version and platform. These events are tagged with a random identifier the app generates (not a hardware or advertising identifier, and not your email). This is on by default; you can turn it off any time in the app under Profile. If you have created an optional account (section 4.2), these events are linked to your account so we can tailor study recommendations to you; if you have not, they remain anonymous. Analytics are stored on Cloudflare (Workers and the D1 database) in the Asia-Pacific region; see section 7.

5. AI features

Praxia may offer optional AI-assisted features (such as an AI tutor and AI course generation) in a future update. They are not enabled in the current release: the app makes no AI-related network requests and sends no prompts, text or images to any AI service. If we enable these features, we will update this policy before they ship and describe exactly what is transmitted.

What we do not do. We do not sell your data. We do not use your learning data to train models. We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. How we use information

• To respond to messages you send us through the website or by email.
• To process course enrolments and provide the training you signed up for.
• To keep the website and the app secure, debug crashes, and prevent abuse.
• To comply with applicable law.

We do not profile you, do not target advertising at you, and do not run automated decision-making against you.

7. Third-party services we use

• Web hosting. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log request metadata as part of operating the service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Google Play. Distribution of the Praxia app is via the Google Play Store. Google’s own policies and identifiers apply when you download or update the app.
• Crash diagnostics. The Praxia app sends crash and error reports to Sentry, operated by Functional Software, Inc., acting as our processor. Reports carry the error, the stack trace and basic device model and operating system version. They are stripped of your prompts, topics, questions, answers and file paths before they leave the device, and no account identifier is attached. See Sentry’s privacy policy.
• Account and progress sync. If you create a Praxia account, your email, optional phone number, display name and learning progress are stored in our sync service running on Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare D1 database. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Usage analytics. The anonymous usage events described in section 4.3 are stored in the same service on Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare D1 database. If you are signed in, they are linked to your account; otherwise they are anonymous. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Email delivery. The one-time sign-in code is sent by Resend, operated by Resend, Inc., acting as our processor, using your email address only to deliver the code. See Resend’s privacy policy.

8. Data retention

• App data. Stored locally on your device for as long as you keep Praxia installed. Uninstalling the app removes it. You can also clear it in-app via Profile → Settings → Delete my data.
• Account and synced data. If you create an optional Praxia account, your email, optional phone number, display name and learning progress are kept until you delete your account. You can delete it any time in-app via Profile → Delete my data, or by writing to privacy@edusharktraining.com; deletion removes the account and all synced data from our servers. Sign-in codes are single-use and expire within 10 minutes.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous usage events (section 4.3) are retained to analyse and improve the app. Events tied to an account are deleted when you delete your account; events collected while signed out are not linked to you.
• Contact-form messages. Retained in our email inbox for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted.
• Enrolment records. Retained for the duration of the programme plus three years for tax and audit compliance under Indian law.
• Server logs. Standard hosting logs are retained per the hosting provider’s default policy.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA/CPRA, India under the DPDP Act 2023), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacy@edusharktraining.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for proof of identity to make sure we are talking to the right person.

For the Praxia app specifically, the simplest way to delete your data is to use the in-app option or to uninstall the app. See the Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions Google Play requires us to publish.

10. Children’s privacy

The Praxia app is rated for ages 13 and above on the Google Play Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

For users in India: under the DPDP Act 2023, processing of children’s personal data requires verifiable parental consent. We do not knowingly process children’s personal data without it.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information:

• The website is served over HTTPS.
• App data is stored in Android private app storage, not in publicly accessible locations.
• API keys for cloud AI services are not embedded in the published app binary; they are read from your local configuration.
• Access to the contact-form mailbox is restricted to authorised EDUSHARK personnel.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timelines required by applicable law.

12. International users

EDUSHARK TRAINING LLP is based in India. If you use the website or the app from outside India, you understand that your information will be processed in India and may be processed by service providers in other countries (for example, the United States in the case of Cloudflare or Sentry). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes (for example, adding analytics, or starting to retain prompt content) will be highlighted on the homepage and inside the Praxia app for at least 30 days before they take effect.
